The Kudos Guarantee is your financial safety net that protects you from the frustrating timing of credit card applications. If the public welcome offer for a card you applied for and were approved for through Kudos increases within 3 months of your application, we'll match the difference with Kudos Boost. The Kudos Guarantee applies to credit cards applied for through our partner referral links (cards where Kudos has an affiliate relationship with the issuer).

How It Works

Step 1: Apply for a qualifying credit card through Kudos

• Apply for the credit card through a Kudos partner referral link (cards where we earn a commission. Not sure if the card you're applying for is eligible? Please reach out to us! 
• This is essential for tracking your eligibility for the guarantee

Step 2: Get approved by the card issuer

• Complete the application process with the credit card issuer
• Wait for approval confirmation

Step 3: Monitor for better offers (we've got your back!)

• If the public welcome offer increases within 3 months of your application date, we've got you covered
• We track these changes, but you can also keep an eye out

Step 4: Claim your guarantee

• Email [email protected] with a screenshot of the new, better public offer (targeted or referred offers are not eligible)
• We'll verify the offer and process your claim for you 

Step 5: Receive your Kudos Boost

• We'll send you the difference as Kudos Boost within 1-2 business days of reaching out to us
• No hoops to jump through, no complicated forms

Eligibility Requirements

• Must apply for the credit card through a Kudos referral link
• Must be approved for the credit card by the issuer
• The new offer must be a public welcome offer (not targeted or invitation-only)
• Must claim within the 3-month window from your original application date
• Applies to the same card product you originally applied for

Which cards are eligible for the Kudos Guarantee?

Only cards where Kudos has an active partnership (affiliate relationship) are covered. You'll see these cards marked as "Apply through Kudos" in our platform. Cards that we don't have partnerships with are not eligible.

What counts as a "public welcome offer"?

Public welcome offers are those available to the general public on the card issuer's website or through standard marketing channels. Targeted offers sent via email or mail to specific individuals do not qualify.

Can I use the Kudos Guarantee multiple times?

Yes! Each card application through Kudos is separately covered by the guarantee. If you apply for multiple cards and better offers appear for any of them within 3 months, you can claim each one.

What if I miss the 3-month window?

The guarantee only applies to offer increases within 3 months of your application date. After that window, new offers are not covered.

How do you verify the new offers?

Our team checks the card issuer's official website and marketing materials to confirm the new offer is legitimate and publicly available.

What can I use my Kudos Boost credit for?

Currently, you can redeem your Kudos Boost for Amazon gift cards. We're working on adding more redemption options in the future!

Is there an expiration date for my Kudos Boost credit?

Yes, Kudos Boost credits expire 12 months from the date they're issued.

What if my original application was denied?

The Kudos Guarantee only applies to approved applications. If your original application was denied, you're not eligible for the guarantee on that application.
