With some users, Bilt Mastercard shows an incorrect negative or inflated credit limit balance in Kudos (e.g., -$37,000 or $50,000 when the actual limit is $13,000).
This issue occurs when users connect their Bilt card by selecting "Bilt Rewards" as the institution during the Plaid connection process. Plaid retrieves data from a virtual account associated with the Bilt Rewards program rather than the actual credit card account, resulting in incorrect balance information.
To display the correct credit limit, reconnect your Bilt Mastercard through Wells Fargo instead of Bilt Rewards:
Disconnect your Bilt Mastercard:
Go to Account Settings in Kudos
Find your Bilt Mastercard
Select "Disconnect" or "Remove Card"
Reconnect using Wells Fargo:
Add a new card
When prompted to select your financial institution, search for and select "Wells Fargo" (not "Bilt Rewards")
Complete the authentication process
Your Bilt Mastercard should now display the correct credit limit

Bilt Mastercard is issued and serviced by Wells Fargo. Connecting directly through Wells Fargo allows Plaid to access the accurate credit card account data instead of the Bilt Rewards virtual account balance.
