Insights is a Kudos Premium feature that automatically scans your spending and surfaces personalized recommendations to help you earn more rewards, use available credits, and get more value from the cards already in your wallet. No digging through transactions required.
How it works
Most finance apps show you data and leave the analysis to you. Insights flips that. It identifies specific actions you can take right now, tells you exactly how much you could earn or save, and shows you the steps to act on it.
Each insight includes a personalized recommendation based on your actual spending, the exact dollar amount you stand to gain, and a clear next step.
Types of insights you'll receive
Rewards optimization
Better card selection: "You could earn $X more by using a different card for groceries."
Boost opportunities: "This merchant offers Boost rewards. You missed out on $X in recent purchases."
Card recommendations: "Based on your spending, this card could earn you $X more annually."
Credits and perks
Available credits: "You have $25 in unused DoorDash credits this month."
Hidden benefits: "Your card offers free phone insurance. Switch your carrier bill to save $15/month."
Wallet health
Fee optimization: "This card's annual fee isn't being offset by your rewards. Consider downgrading to save $95/year."
Interest savings: "Moving your balance could save you $X in interest payments."
Where to find your insights
Insights appear on your home page in the Kudos web portal and mobile app for iOS and Android, sorted by potential dollar impact, so the highest-value opportunities show up first.
Tracking your progress
When you act on an insight, it moves to a queued status until Kudos confirms the change through your transaction data. The more you use it, the better it gets at spotting new opportunities for your specific wallet.
