Kudos Boost is our free rewards program that gives you cash back on top of your credit card rewards at over 15,000 participating stores, including Sephora, ebay, StubHub, Expedia, and more. We share the commission we earn from those stores with you as Boost - and Kudos Premium members earn 1.25x the standard Boost rate.
How it works:
When you shop with Kudos on desktop or mobile, you'll automatically earn your card's regular rewards plus your Boost rate. Just activate Kudos Boost before checkout.
Example: If a store's Boost rate is 12% and your credit card gives you 3% back, you'll get 15% total back on your purchase (3% from your card + 12% Boost). As a Kudos Premium member, that 12% Boost rate becomes 15% - for 18% total back.
Boost rates and Kudos Premium
The Boost rate shown at a store is the standard rate. Kudos Premium members earn 1.25x that rate on every eligible purchase - a 10% Boost rate becomes 12.5%, and at merchants where Boost runs as high as 30%, Premium members earn 37.5%. The elevated rate applies to Flash Boost sales and Deal of the Day too, and it's applied automatically.
No rewards card? No problem - you'll still earn your full Boost rate!
How we keep Kudos free:
We generate revenue through:
Merchant Commissions: When you shop through Kudos, stores pay us a commission, and we share it with you through Boost. Premium members receive 100% of it; free members receive the standard Boost rate, 80% of it.
Credit Card Partnerships: When you discover and apply for cards using our personalized tools (like Dream Wallet or Card Explorer), card issuers pay us a commission. We use this to support our mission while keeping Kudos free.
Premium and Lifetime Memberships: When members choose to upgrade to Kudos Premium or Lifetime, that revenue directly funds the tools, features, and higher Boost rates available to those members, while still keeping a full set of core features free for everyone.
