We make money in a few main ways:
Merchant Commissions: When you make a purchase at one of our 15,000+ partnered stores, merchants pay us a commission, and we share it with you through our Kudos Boost rewards program so that you are stacking rewards on top of your card rewards. Kudos Premium members earn 100% of that commission. Free members earn the standard Boost rate (80%), so Premium members earn 1.25x the standard Boost rate on the same purchase.
Card Application Commissions: When you apply for specific credit cards using one of our personalized tools - like Dream Wallet or our Card Explorer tool - we earn commissions from card issuers. Using our links to apply for cards directly supports us and helps us keep offering valuable tools and maximum rewards for free.
Premium and Lifetime Memberships: We also earn revenue when members choose to upgrade to Kudos Premium or Lifetime. This directly funds the tools, features, and higher Boost rates available to those members, while still keeping a full set of core features free for everyone.
