If you need to uninstall Kudos from your browser or device, follow the instructions below for your specific platform.
Browser Extensions
Google Chrome
Open Chrome and click the three-dot menu (⋮) in the top-right corner
Select Extensions > Manage Extensions
Find Kudos in your list of extensions
Click Remove
Confirm by clicking Remove again in the popup
Alternative method: Right-click the Kudos icon in your browser toolbar and select Remove from Chrome.
Microsoft Edge
Open Edge and click the three-dot menu (···) in the top-right corner
Select Extensions
Click Manage extensions
Find Kudos in your list of extensions
Click Remove
Confirm by clicking Remove in the popup
Safari (Mac)
Open Safari and click Safari in the menu bar
Select Settings (or Preferences on older versions)
Click the Extensions tab
Find Kudos in the left sidebar
Click Uninstall
Mobile Apps
iPhone (iOS)
Locate the Kudos app on your iPhone home screen
Press and hold the Kudos app icon until a menu appears
Tap Remove App
Select Delete App
Confirm by tapping Delete
Alternative method (iOS 13 and later):
Press and hold the Kudos app icon
Tap the minus (−) icon in the top-left corner
Tap Delete App
Confirm by tapping Delete
Note: Deleting the app will remove it from your device, but your Kudos account and data remain saved. You can reinstall from the App Store anytime. Here are instructions if you want to delete your Kudos account.
What Happens When You Remove Kudos?
When you uninstall the Kudos extension or app:
You'll no longer see real-time cashback rates while shopping
Automatic cashback tracking will stop
You won't receive Kudos Boost notifications
Your account data remains saved and accessible if you reinstall later
Need a Break Instead?
If you're experiencing issues or just need a temporary break, you can disable the extension instead of removing it completely. Simply toggle the extension off in your browser's extension settings. This preserves your setup while pausing Kudos functionality.
For the mobile app, you can turn off notifications in your iPhone settings without deleting the app entirely.
