When you're looking at a product online, Kudos checks whether the exact same item is a better deal at another store. If it is, you'll see a Kudos prompt showing how much better off you'd be. If it isn't, Kudos stays out of the way.
What counts as a better deal
Kudos compares what you were about to pay against the total value at another store, including the price and any Boost you can earn there. You'll only see a suggestion when you come out ahead through:
A lower price on the same item
More Kudos Boost cashback at the other store
Both
How Kudos makes sure it's the same item
Kudos only suggests an alternative when it can confirm:
Same product. The identical item, not a "similar" one.
Same variant. Your size, color, or model where that information is available.
In stock. The other store actually has it.
If Kudos can't confirm all of that, you won't see a prompt.
What the prompt shows
The prompt compares your current store with the recommended store side by side, including the price and Boost rate at each, the total value you could get, and a button to shop at the recommended store.
The Boost rate shown is the one available to you. Kudos Premium members see their Premium rate, and free members see the free rate.
What happens when you tap through
Tap the button in the prompt. Kudos opens the exact product page at the recommended store.
When the page opens, tap Activate Boost in the Kudos prompt before you check out.
Complete your purchase as usual. Your Boost is credited to your Kudos account once the purchase is confirmed.
Don't want to switch stores? Just close the prompt and keep shopping.
Who can use it
