If you have the Platinum Card® from American Express or the American Express® Gold Card, you may have two different Uber benefits, and Kudos tracks them differently. That can make it look like one of them isn't being tracked correctly. Here's how each one works.
🚗 Uber Cash
Platinum Card: up to $200 a year ($15 a month, plus $20 in December)
Gold Card: up to $120 a year ($10 a month)
Your monthly Uber Cash is added directly to your Uber account, not to your card. It shows up as a balance in the Uber app that you can use on U.S. Uber rides and Uber Eats orders.
Because Uber Cash never posts as a statement credit on your card, it doesn't appear in your card transactions, so Kudos can't confirm it on its own. Instead, Kudos tracks it as an assumed credit. When we see an Uber charge on your card, we'll ask, "Did you use this benefit?" Tap Yes, I did or No, not yet, and we'll track it from there.

⭐ Uber One credit
Platinum Card: up to $120 a year ($10 a month) when you pay for an auto-renewing Uber One membership with your card
This is a statement credit, so it will show up in your card transactions as long as you're paying for Uber One with your Platinum Amex. That means Kudos can track these credits automatically.
What you need to do: Enroll in the Uber One credit in your Amex account, and make sure your Uber One membership is billed to the card that has the credit. Kudos will mark it as redeemed when the statement credit posts.

Why isn't Kudos tracking my Uber Cash automatically?
Uber Cash goes into your Uber account, not onto your card, so it never shows up in your card transactions. Kudos can see your Uber charges, but not your Uber Cash balance, so we ask you to confirm instead.
Why does my Uber One credit show as missed?
The Uber One credit posts only when your Uber One membership is billed to the card with the credit, and you're enrolled in the benefit. Double check that your membership is billed to your eligible card.
