When you search for Barclays in Plaid, you'll see two options. To connect a Barclays credit card, such as a JetBlue card or the GM Rewards™ Mastercard®, choose Barclays - Cards. The other option, Barclays - Bank (US), is only for Barclays savings accounts and won't accept your credit card login.
🔍 How to link your Barclays card
In Kudos, go to Connect Accounts, or add your Barclays card to your wallet and choose to connect it.
When the Plaid window opens, search for "Barclays" and select it. Plaid will show two associated institutions.
Select Barclays - Cards. Don't choose Barclays - Bank (US).
Check the heading at the top of the screen. It should say "Log into Barclays - Cards." If it says "Log into Barclays - Bank (US)," go back and pick Barclays - Cards instead.
Sign in with the same username and password you use on barclaycardus.com.
On the account selection screen, make sure your credit card is checked, then finish connecting.
After it's connected, make sure the account is matched to the right card in your wallet. Here's how to match accounts to your cards.
🔍 Still having trouble?
"Username or password incorrect": this usually means Barclays - Bank (US) was selected. Go back and choose Barclays - Cards.
Only a savings account showed up: you connected through Barclays - Bank (US). Connect again through Barclays - Cards to bring in your credit card.
Still not working with Barclays - Cards: confirm you can log in at barclaycardus.com with the same username and password. If Barclays asks for a security step, complete it there first, then try connecting again.
