‍Can I use other rewards programs at the same time as Kudos?

Updated this week

Only one rewards program can receive the merchant's commission per purchase. Think of it like a real estate referral fee. When you close on a house, only one agent earns the commission, even if you toured with several. Online shopping works the same way.

What this means for you:

  • If you activate Kudos Boost and another program (like Honey, Capital One Shopping, Rakuten, or Microsoft Rewards) during the same purchase, we can't guarantee which one gets credit.

  • If another program is attributed the commission, we won't be able to share it with you.

  • Attribution can't be moved retroactively — by us or any other program.

To get your full Boost reward (100% of our merchant commission), use Kudos exclusively and disable competing browser extensions before checkout.

Missing Boost rewards? Start here.

It might still be processing.

Boost rewards typically appear as pending within 2–14 days after purchase. If you don't see anything after 14 days, reach out to us, and we'll look into it. Note: pending rewards can't be redeemed until they're confirmed.

Is the purchase from a Boost-eligible store?

Not every retailer participates in the Boost program. If a store is eligible, you'll see the Boost offer in the extension while you shop. You can also check our 15,000 partners in the portal.

Did you have another rewards extension active?

If another program (Honey, Capital One Shopping, Rakuten, etc.) was running during checkout, it may have claimed the commission instead. We can't retroactively reassign attribution once a purchase is tracked by another program.

Do you have an ad blocker enabled?

Ad blockers can interfere with the tracking links that attribute your purchase to Kudos. If you have one running, try disabling it for the retailer's site and making sure Boost is activated before completing checkout. Make sure to also whitelist Kudos.

Was the item excluded?

Some products are excluded from Boost rewards at the merchant's discretion. Check the extension of our portal for any exclusion notices while shopping.

Did you return the item?

Boost rewards are based on the merchant's commission, which is reversed when a purchase is returned or refunded. If you returned your order, any associated Boost rewards will be removed.

If none of the above applies, send us your order confirmation (screenshot or forwarded email) to support@joinkudos.com with the purchase date, total, and order number, and we'll take a look!

Important: Microsoft Edge users

Microsoft Edge includes a built-in shopping extension (Microsoft Rewards) that's enabled by default. It can claim attribution even if you never actively click it, which may cause you to miss out on Boost rewards.

To disable it:

  1. Open Microsoft Edge and click the three-dot menu (...) in the top right.

  2. Go to Settings → Profiles.

  3. Find Microsoft Rewards in the right pane and click it.

  4. Toggle off "Show rewards in Microsoft Edge."
