If you're currently on a Kudos Premium yearly plan and want to upgrade to Lifetime, this article explains what happens to your annual subscription, how your upgrade credit works, and how to redeem it.
What Happens When You Upgrade
When you upgrade from a yearly Premium plan to Lifetime:
Your annual subscription is cancelled at the end of your current billing period, and you won't be charged again.
The full price you paid for your annual subscription is issued as a Kudos Boost credit, applied directly to your account.
Your Lifetime access activates immediately upon purchase.
For example, if you paid $71.95 for your annual subscription, that amount is credited to your Kudos wallet once your upgrade is processed. No action needed on your part.
Important: Cancel your subscription manually if you're on Apple or Google Play.
Upgrading to Lifetime does not automatically cancel subscriptions billed through the App Store, Google Play, or Stripe. To avoid being charged again at your next renewal date, cancel it manually through the platform you originally subscribed with:
Apple: Go to Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions on your iPhone, find Kudos Premium, and tap Cancel Subscription.
Google Play: Open the Google Play Store app, tap your profile icon > Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions, find Kudos Premium, and tap Cancel.
Stripe (billed via joinkudos.com): Go to Account Settings on joinkudos.com and manage your subscription directly.
Your Lifetime access won't be affected either way.
Where to Find Your Upgrade Credit
Your upgrade credit will appear in your Kudos wallet as: Bonus: Lifetime upgrade credit. You can view it anytime at: https://www.joinkudos.com/my-wallet/reward-history
How to Redeem Your Credit
Your upgrade credit can be redeemed as:
Amazon gift card
PayPal cash

How long does it take for the credit to appear?
Your credit is applied when your upgrade is processed. If you don't see it after upgrading, contact support at support@joinkudos.com.
Can I redeem my credit for something other than Amazon or PayPal?
At this time, redemption options are limited to Amazon gift cards and PayPal cash. We plan to add more redemption options soon!
What if my credit amount looks incorrect?
The credit is calculated based on the amount you paid for your annual subscription. If you believe there's a discrepancy, reach out to our support team, and we'll look into it.
