If you have a Bilt card in your Kudos wallet, follow the steps below to make sure Kudos is calculating your best card correctly.

There are five tiers:

Your tier directly changes which card wins at checkout, so Kudos needs to know which one you're on to recommend the right card.

Bilt is retiring Flexible Bilt Cash mode (the 4% Bilt Cash option). On your Bilt card anniversary, your card moves to housing-only rewards automatically, unless you opt out in your Bilt card settings before that date.

If your card switches to housing-only rewards, come back to Kudos and update your tier to the housing-only option that matches your spending. That keeps your card recommendations accurate.

If you opted out to keep earning 4% Bilt Cash, you don't need to change anything in Kudos. Keep the "Bilt Cash (redeemed for 1x on housing)" tier selected.

Not sure which path you're on? Open the Bilt app and go to card settings, and you'll see it listed there.

Once your tier is set in Kudos, we'll factor it into every recommendation going forward.

If you're on the Bilt Cash path, you can select "Bilt Cash (redeemed for 1x on housing)" as your tier, as above. Because Bilt Cash can be redeemed across rent, mortgage, travel, and more, Kudos can't automatically detect when you've used it, so you'll need to track it manually:

Think of it like a checkbox you update yourself each time you redeem. It keeps your benefits view accurate, so you always know where you stand.

Bilt Cash now expires at the end of the month, 12 months after you earn it, instead of on December 31. Use the oldest Bilt Cash first so none of it expires.
