Does Kudos Boost work on Shopify stores?

Yes. Shopify stores route checkout through a shop.pay page rather than the merchant's own site, and Boost still tracks as long as you activated it in the store before starting checkout.

Yes. Kudos Boost works on Shopify-powered stores.

Shopify handles checkout a little differently from most sites. Instead of completing your order on the merchant's own domain, you're redirected to a shop.pay page. That redirect can look like you've left the store, but it does not break Boost tracking.

What you need to do

Activate Boost in the store before you start checkout. As long as Boost was active in the store when you began, it still applies once checkout moves to shop.pay.

If you have Auto-Activate Boost turned on, it happens automatically at participating merchants.

What can still stop it from tracking

The usual Boost rules apply on Shopify stores just as they do anywhere else:

  • Boost was not activated before checkout. Activating after you have already started checkout is too late.

  • Another rewards extension was clicked last. If you click a competing cashback program after Kudos, that program is usually credited for the sale instead.

  • Ad blockers or blocked cookies. These can interfere with the tracking link that attributes your purchase to Kudos.

  • A stale session. Complete your purchase within 24 hours of activating Boost.

If a Shopify purchase did not track

Check your Boost activity first, since it can take time for a purchase to appear. If it is still missing, reach out to us at support@joinkudos.com with the merchant name, order date, and order number, and we will look into it for you!
