Kudos automatically scans and identifies benefits across your linked cards, surfacing perks you may not have known you had, from free shipping to complimentary checked luggage to statement credits. When you make a purchase at a store with a card or benefit, Kudos detects and registers the redemption automatically, as long as you've connected your accounts and there is a clear monetary mapping.
The manual toggle isn't just a fallback for detection delays. Some benefits are manual by design. Membership-style perks you redeem directly with the provider (like a complimentary DashPass, Lyft Pink, or ClearPlus subscription) aren't tied to a purchase Kudos can match to your card, so they can't be detected automatically. For these, activate the perk with the provider first, then come back and toggle it as redeemed in Kudos yourself so your tracker stays accurate. If you're not sure whether a specific benefit tracks automatically or needs a manual toggle, open that benefit's detail page to see which type it is.

Every credit shows one of four statuses, so you always know where it stands:
In Progress: The credit period is still open, and Kudos is waiting for a matching purchase or statement credit.
Redeemed: Kudos found a matching purchase, and you got the credit.
Missed: The period ended, and the credit wasn't used or couldn't be tracked.
Assumed: Your spending suggests you used the credit, but Kudos needs you to confirm it. Learn more about assumed credits.
