Subscription Detection
Once you connect your card accounts inside Kudos, we analyze your linked transaction history (via Plaid) to identify recurring charges that look like subscriptions, based on frequency, merchant patterns, and transaction data.
Keep in mind:
Not every subscription may be detected (e.g., annual, irregular, or new charges)
Some flagged transactions may not be actual subscriptions
Detection only works for accounts linked through Plaid, so make sure to connect your cards
You remain responsible for monitoring all of your recurring charges and verifying cancellations directly with merchants.
Cancel for Me
You can request that Kudos contact a merchant on your behalf to cancel a subscription. Our AI agent will communicate with the merchant via phone, email, or chat to complete the cancellation.
What Kudos will do:
Represent you as the account holder
Navigate merchant cancellation procedures
Handle verification requirements
Limitations:
Some merchants may not accept third-party or AI-powered cancellation requests
You may continue to be charged until the merchant confirms cancellation
Does not support subscriptions requiring in-person cancellation, financial products, insurance, or utilities
Always verify the cancellation directly with the merchant after Kudos completes the request.
