Kudos can automatically activate your card-linked offers in the background so you never have to click through them manually. If you'd rather not see the popup when this happens, you can turn it off, on both mobile and web, without losing access to your offers.
Your offers will still be there to view and activate manually. They just won't pop up on their own.
View Your Offers Without the Extension
You don't need the extension installed at all just to see your offers.
In the Kudos app, go to the Card-linked offers tab (also shown as "Benefits and Offers"). You'll see the full list of everything available across your linked cards there.
Turn Off Auto-Activation on Mobile (Safari Extension)
If you have the Kudos extension installed in Safari on your phone:
Tap the puzzle piece icon in the upper left corner of Safari
Tap Kudos
Tap Open the extension pop-up
Toggle off Auto-activate card offers
Turn Off Auto-Activation on Mobile (Kudos App)
The Kudos mobile app doesn't run in the background the way the browser extension does, so there's no always-on toggle here. Instead, auto-activation on mobile only happens if you've saved a bank login for card-linked offers.
In the Kudos app, go to Wallet > Card-linked offers
Tap Sync in the top right corner
In the Sync new offers modal, find the issuer and tap Remove login
This stops Kudos from logging in and auto-activating offers for that issuer going forward. If you log back in to that bank later and see the "Auto-activate new offers each week" prompt again, make sure to leave that toggle off, otherwise it will turn auto-activation back on.
Note: saved bank logins and auto-activation are set per device. If you've connected the same bank on both mobile and desktop, you'll need to remove the login or turn off the toggle on each device separately.
Turn Off Auto-Activation on Desktop/Web
If you have the Kudos extension installed on desktop:
Click the Kudos icon in your browser's extensions list
Click Open the extension pop-up
Toggle off Auto-activate card offers
Note: there are two separate toggles in the extension pop-up:
Auto-activate Boost controls automatic Boost activation at checkout
Auto-activate card offers controls automatic card-linked offer activation at banking portals
Make sure you're toggling off Auto-activate card offers specifically.
