Demo mode lets you try Kudos Premium in the Kudos iOS app using a fully set-up sample account. You don't need to pay, link a bank, or enter any card numbers.
Everything in demo mode is example data, and nothing from it carries over to your own account.
What can I explore in demo mode?
The sample account has Kudos Premium turned on, with a wallet of popular rewards cards and about 15 months of transaction history. You can explore:
Benefits Tracker: statement credits tracked automatically, plus credits that are still unused
Bill negotiation: a completed negotiation that lowered a T-Mobile bill from $130 to $60 a month, including a video of the call
Card-linked offers and Boost: offers already activated and earning
Wallet and spending insights: sample cards, transactions, recurring payments, and spending trends
Credit score: how your score and credit overview are displayed
Kudos AI: example answers about the sample account
How do I start demo mode?
Demo mode is only available in the Kudos iOS app for now. It isn't available on Android, on desktop, or in the browser extension yet. First, make sure you're on the latest version of the app (version 4.671.1 or later in the App Store). If you don't see the demo link, update the app and try again.
If you already have a Kudos account:
Open the Kudos app and tap any option to upgrade to Premium.
On the Join Kudos Premium screen, scroll down to the Kudos Premium subscription section.
Just above the pricing plans, tap Not ready? Demo the app with sample data.
Wait about 15 to 30 seconds while the sample account loads, then explore the app.
When you're done, tap Exit Demo to return to your own account.
If you're signing up for a new account: You'll also see the demo mode link on the Kudos Premium step during sign-up.
If the app stays in the background for more than an hour, the demo ends on its own.
What isn't available in demo mode?
Because demo mode uses sample data, some actions are turned off. If you tap one, you'll see a message that it isn't available in demo mode.
Purchases, subscriptions, and payments
Linking banks or cards
Starting new bill negotiations or credit checks
Referral codes and sharing
Can I use demo mode if I already have a Kudos account?
Yes. Tap any option to upgrade to Premium in the iOS app, then tap Not ready? Demo the app with sample data just above the pricing plans. Your own account doesn't change while you're in the demo, and you'll return to it when you tap Exit Demo.
Is demo mode available on Android?
Not yet. Demo mode is only available in the Kudos iOS app for now.
Does demo mode give me free Premium on my account?
No. Premium is only turned on in the sample account. Your own account stays on the same plan it had before.
What happens to the demo account when I'm done?
The sample account is deleted automatically within about a day. Nothing from it is saved or copied into your account.
